PRIMARK OPENS ITS FIRST STORE IN MALAGA

The Irish company Primark has finally opened a store in Malaga city center. The Irish chain, which is specialized in low-cost fashion, presents the latest trends in clothing, shoes, lingerie and things for your home in an area of 4,000 square feet on two floors in the Larios shopping center. Primark was founded in 1969 in Dublin and is Ireland’s largest retail chain with a total of 223 stores in countries like England, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Portugal and Spain. The chain has more than 36,000 employees. In England (149 stores) and Ireland (38) is half of Primark shops located at street level, but the chain in Spain has decided to expand its presence in shopping malls, and right now Primark stores can be found in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, Bilbao, Zaragoza, La Coruña, Jerez, Algeciras and Malaga. The 26th October 2011 was the date that was chosen for the opening of Primark in Malaga and thus also the creation of 196 jobs. The shop is located in the Larios shopping center next to the train and bus station and on the opening day, thousands of people showed up at the store, not to miss the any good deals. With the new Primark in Malaga, there are now 21 stores in Spain and there are still plans to open new stores and number 22 is to be opened on the 25th November 2011 in the mall L’Illa Diagonal in Barcelona.
